Do We Really Only Use 10% of Our Brain?

This persistent belief seems to be pervasive. I have heard this said ever since I was in elementary school. What do you think? Is the rest of the potential use of our brain deep in the “subconscious” mind, underutilized for the most part? Are there exercises you can do to use more of your brain?
